so my ingredients broke from the 3/4 patch because of that "leftovers" glitch they called themselves fixing. 

The newest patch today did not fix whatever they broke so here we are smh. 

what you need to know:

•  if you actually have the *custom* ingredient in ur fridge/inventory for the recipe youre trying to make YOU CANNOT COOK IT. Ex: ribeye steak, shrimp, literally whatever my ingredient is that the recipe is calling for cannot be in ur inventory AT ALL or you won't be able to cook ANYTHING. EA's ingredients are fine (bell pepper, carrot, etc) 
• for some reason, its when the actual ingredient required is in your inventory.
• I was gagged. Gooped. Led astray smh.

if your curious what exactly is the issue:

 what broke is the system I used for MOST of the  ingredients, 95% of them. I had them so you could use them 12x (giving realism) by making them recipes (which remember duplicating butter 🙃) and everything was fine. No more buying 849184 packs of goat or opening them which i hated! I was thrilled, thriving, enjoying the high life. 

But I think this leftovers bug they "fixed" changed something behind the scenes that I can’t figure out. So i'm going back to the recipe ingredients which FML but I tested 2 "updated" ingredients to see if it would work, and it did! So i'm going back and adding them back to the tablet and the new ingredients w/o recipes. But don't worry, I'm combing thru every. single. one to make sure they don’t' grab them and try to eat them again. Pray for me lol. Today or tmrw should be ready also with some new harvestable i made :)

if you only have the ingredients for the animations and never buy them then youre fine. meaning, if you never bought them to use in the recipes you wouldn't notice. believe it or not i don’t always have my own ingredients in my sims house so it took me a minute to figure it out lol

so what does this mean for you?

• do NOT buy the ingredients that you do not intend to eat or drink! Meaning: milk, eggnog, lactaid, yogurt , wine and liquor and the few other ingredients you can actually eat from are unaffected and work the same. Also, the crafted ingredients (mac and cheese, yellow rice, etc) seem to work as well. Most of the struggle pot ingredients should be fine as well, as they are single use.
•  I am aware of some of your wine issues, but I can’t replicate it. Hopefully when i update these ingredients, it will fix it. In the meantime, make sure you have these:

• to understand it is NOT the actual object nor recipes, but the reusable ingredients
• to know I am aware of things and am trying to fix them as quickly as I can. 
• to please be patient.
