BOOK CLUB: Ravenor Rogue (and trilogy) Questions

So, if anyone has any questions, observations, or thoughts on the book OR the Ravenor trilogy as a whole, jot them down here and we'll try and cover them!!

I thought the entire series got better and better as I went through it and I'm really excited if they do decide to go ahead with the live action Ravenor series. I do have one question and that is whether the last minute 'heel turn' by Molotch feels slightly contrived? I know you've talked in the past about the Eisenhorn books shoehorning a lot into the last 20 pages and at the time I did feel that Molotch coming up with a convenient way for Ravenor to stop the big scary daemon had some shaky reasoning

2022-09-27 13:43:35 +0000 UTCSo its been a while since I read this book, but looking back I think is suffers from similar issues to books in the Eisenhorn trilogy where the ending is a bit weak. Any thoughts? My only other comment is considering how inquisitors (at least in the world of these books) keep linking up with Daemons and breaking the law I am surprised there isnt a 4th arm of the inquisition to manage this, or some type of purge / reform. I know its the imperium but the track record is pretty heretical at this stage.
