What would you want from a D&D adventure Kickstarter?
Added 2025-04-07 23:51:48 +0000 UTCAs I've previously mentioned, I'm cooking up a new adventure publishing company, which I intend to launch once Curse of Strahd: Reloaded is complete.
Our first product will be a Lost Mines of Phandelver: Reloaded Kickstarter—but there's one problem: I have no idea what kinds of perks or rewards people might want out of a Kickstarter! (That's doubly true for Reloaded-style Kickstarters, since we're required to make all actual adventure content free, though I was planning on doing that anyway.)
That's why my team has put together a short, five-question Backer Rewards survey to ask what kinds of perks and rewards you'd want from an adventure-publishing company's Kickstarter (and Patreon, while we're at it). It's all multiple choice, and should take you less than five minutes to complete; we'd deeply appreciate your responses!

It's an interesting idea! I haven't read DoIP, so I don't know that we could combine it, but I certainly want to make it easier for DMs to link consecutive modules together.

2025-04-08 12:39:15 +0000 UTCYou can also combine the adventures well, like expansions. Each one stands on its own, with hints about how they can be ran together. The Doip and Lmop can be combined well.

2025-04-08 05:27:21 +0000 UTCFair question! And not really - Shattered Obelisk is to LMoP what "CoS: Revamped" was to Strahd - a few cosmetic changes, but no notable alterations. LMoP: Reloaded would receive the full CoS: Reloaded treatment, by contrast. And DoIP is definitely a module that might eventually go on our list! We're trying to start relatively small for now, though.
