"One will be provided, though we had to guess your measurements. You should find the fit suitable. Doctor Mason has an eye for these things after all."
The Doctor's Assistant was expressionless as she spoke, features frozen in place yet still Annie could sense this aggressively glamorous woman's disdain from the moment she walked in that morning.
"Doctor Mason?" Annie inquired with a sheepish shrug
"Doctor Mason, yes, the man you work for" came the icy reply from the frosty blonde, followed by a brief distainful glance up and down.
With a little nervous hesitation, Annie followed the brisk clicking of the Assistant's heels across the foyer around to the front desk.
"As Client Liason, you will be responsible for booking appointments, greeting clients as they arrive and ensuring the front of house remains clean and presentable. That of course, includes you."
Annie grimaced as the Assistant continued,
"Considering you're obviously unfamiliar with Doctor Mason, you should at least become familiar with his work"
She gestured a heavily manicured hand towards the photographs and brochures arranged about the place.
All of them depicting or detailing various examples of surgical alterations, or "enhancements"
as the brochure called them. The women pictured looked almost alien to Annie's eyes, the list of procedures all sounding just as peculiar.
