The Fall of New Prospect

The Aurelian Federation would occasionally deploy mechs to bolster their forces to provide mobile heavy support or operate independently. The Dragoon MK II would be their mainline mech in numerous operations, known for their high adaptability and rapid mobilization. This one in particular is a custom model piloted by Lieutenant Garrote finely tuned around the use of it twin laser cannons.
At this point, the mining colony of New Prospect is being torn apart by the conflict. Aurelian warships were shredding the station's defenses and vital systems are failing. The people that are left rush to evacuate, but only half make it out. Nora was on her way to escape with her fellow crew, but was cut off.
