Reminds me of the Zelda quest where you were rewarded by a litteral đ©! Some Players will ingage in whatever tedious task if you can trick them into it by promising whatever reward.

Edit: either as an actual mechanic to increase play time, or as something they just anonymously "leaked" on the forums/reddit/w/e to see if they could get players to do it.
