Early version of a new shot
Added 2020-05-20 19:41:34 +0000 UTCStarted working on this shot today and thought I would share a bit of a progress update. It is missing a lot of details but I often start by trying to get the essence of the shot done before committing to painting all the final details.
I will add a 3D camera movement to this to add some parallax to the foreground. It gives a nice cinematic touch to the scene and creates a nice flow for the edit.
When animating the car driving I made sure to add some key frames to the rotation of the car making it feel like it drives on an uneven surface.
I think it could look cool to add some dust from the wheels as it drives by. Might do that using particles or possibly hand drawn animation to create more of a 2D feel to the whole shot. We will see.
I will try to share more of this shot as I keep working on it. Maybe it will become a video as well.
