News + New Year Update!

Heya! I don't normally post just big texts here but there's some stuff happening that I need to talk about! This post'll be public too so everyone can see it, just in case!

First things first, if you follow me on Twitter then you'll know that a few days ago my tablet finally reached an unusable state for me. A replacement has been ordered and should be here around Christmas time hopefully! Unfortunately that means I won't be able to draw anything until then, and might need a little bit to get situated with the new one. At worst, all that means is that the poll winner picture might be a little delayed! I'll still try to squeeze it in before the end of the year but the odds of it being before Christmas are slim, sorry if you were looking forward to it D:

The other news is that I'm gonna be adding a bit to the Patreon, starting on January 1st!

Firstly, I'm going to begin making posts here exclusive for 2 weeks now instead of 1. I really don't like having to make artwork exclusive for so long, but if I want art to be a sustainable source of income for me then I need to plug this place more and offer some better bonuses for you generous folks that support me.

Secondly, I'm gonna be replacing the $1 tier with a $2 tier. This shouldn't affect anyone that is currently pledging to the $1, as far as I'm aware you will still only be charged $1 a month unless you manually update it to the $2!

Thirdly, I'll be adding some small benefits. To the $5 tier, you'll get access to timelapses for everything I post here. It's not much, but if you were ever curious about my art methods then you will be able to see it all from start to finish if you'd like! And for the $10 tier, I'll be giving you guys first dibs for a week on any and all adoptables I design before advertising them on Twitter! Making adopts is something that I really want to do more of, and the least I can do for anyone that supports me at this level is give them a chance to grab one of them before anyone else if they want to!

And fourthly, and arguably most importantly, I'm going to finally be reopening a few monthly sketch commission spots. Commissions still scare the heck outta me but it's undeniable that I can't make due without them. So, I'll be starting small. I'll be adding a $70 tier with 2 spots for a monthly single-character sketch commission (I hate charging that much but my friends will get mad at me if I go any lower). Depending on how they go, I may or may not add more spots to that tier in the following months, but we'll see!
