My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade | Full Album Reaction

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade | Full Album Reaction

Comments

Wow what an experience! I went into this only knowing welcome to the black parade and teenagers (but knowing both of those very well) so I was excited and curious, but… wow. There’s so much I took from this, and thank you for your thoughts throughout! I think I’ll need more time with this album to fully process.

1 Im so glad you were able to listen to this album, it truly is such a wonderful experience that I think everyone should experience personally. It was wonderful to watch how much you enjoyed the album and what you were able to take from it. One of my favourite things about my chem is how layered their music is because of how interesting it is to see whoch elements people do and dont pick up on/ resonate with depending on their own life experiences. 2 After watching your reaction to this album I would say that their danger days album makes the most sense for you to jump into next, because it seems like it will have thematic elements you'll really enjoy! I also adore their sophomore album three cheers for sweet revenge [which they remastered in 2025! If you wanted to listen to that album I would highly recommend the remastered version] but it is quite a bit darker and heavier than the black parade. However, if you've appreciated your brief delves into hell with this project, three cheers is an incredible strong album with very poignant themes. Danger days is also very thematically relevant [especially to our world today] and may lean in a direction that you'll really enjoy! Danger days is also a pop punk project, so it will have some more familiar music elements to you! Three cheers, in contrast, is a heavy rock album that is beautifully layered, but can get noisy for people not overly accustomed to the genre. If you listen to any more my chem after this album you'll be doing yourself a favor, they truly have not missed once! 3 this is more selfish than anything, but the lead singer Gerard Way has a solo album released after the band had broken up which features some incredibly beautiful vocal work. Its called hesitant alien, and it is a beautiful indie experience defined by Gerard ways absolutely gorgeous vocal work and devastating pen
