This from Lewis was so emotional for me. I agree the last song is just sad I am glad he shared his thoughts by making this song so those close to him can help. Beautiful songs thanks for doing this.

Kelsea did a couple of shows for small audiences at a studio, which was decorated with swing sets, park benches, and faux grass and flowers. We were all given a small picnic basket with snacks when we came in. There were behind-the-scenes films playing on the screen. Kelsea sang the whole EP sitting on a swing set or on one of the benches. It was such a dreamy way to experience new music. Tickets were only $20! Kelsea said that she made the first notes for "I Sit in Parks" in June and she decided to make a new EP over the summer. She said that "People Pleaser" was a holdover from Patterns that she couldn't crack the code on until this summer. She mentions Radnor Lake in that song, which is a state park in Nashville. It's crazy that it's surrounded by a very busy urban area, but I've seen wild turkey there several times and a bald eagle once. She said that "587" is the distance from her home in Nashville to the Mount Pleasant neighborhood in Charleston, SC. The BTS videos are on YT now, which describe the inspiration behind these songs better than I can.
