So Here We Are - 2025.04.02
Added 2025-04-02 21:47:12 +0000 UTCAs the development phase of the game is winding down, and the game gets assembled for the playtesters to stress-test the first update, I wanted to get some input from you, our loyal supporters.
What were the features of the previous game that you really liked or disliked?
Did you have a favorite character? A least favorite character? Why?
Since I have pointed out on prior occasions that this iteration/reImagining of the game has some key differences, what sorts of differences are you hoping to see in Princess on the Run that you didn’t get in Runaway Princess?
While your feedback is super-important to us, the details of the first update are pretty much complete, as is most of part 2 of Willowdale before our band of adventurers head out into the wilds to escort Aelrue to her destination. Beyond that, there are a number of random encounters that you might be able to suggest to us. If you are so inclined, drop us developers a line either here in the comments or over at the Princess on the Run Discord server (where, hopefully, you are already a member and getting up to date information about the game’s release and details).
I’ll be posting an update on Monday, April 7th, with some details as to render count (currently, we are just shy of 900 game and game-related renders for the first update), words and essentially, how close the game is to the Playtester Phase of development.

I agree that Sylvyre is often overlooked; she appears in the old game at least once per destination, which seems too infrequent in my estimation. I think we will have addressed all of your concerns in the first update, and maybe in the second update.

2025-04-05 21:32:18 +0000 UTC-Trolls were mentioned somewhere in the game, but never brought up. -My favorite characters are Sylvyre, Aelrue and Kelly of course. The least favorite was maybe the crazy doctor Aelrue was visiting. -I thought this was an adult game, but it took quite a long time to heve the first adult scenes. As the story is good, i didn't think it's much of a problem at all (Although i'd like to see Kelly lose her clothes faster :) ) -I think the game Truth or Dare could be more and longer, maybe more often (I liked it very much. These are the things I liked especially in the game, and I am aware of the fact that most of them are in the beginning of the game, so I can't wait to see what you made of it. I just hope that Sylvyre will get a bigger role in hte new game.
