Higher Resolution Comics

Recently, one of the patrons, Bluntobject, suggested the idea of providing higher resolution images of the comics.

I provide the comics currently in a resolution of 642x900 for the reason that I want the entire page to comfortably fit within 1920x1080. To me, a comic page is a 'complete thought', and is not meant to be viewed by scrolling from top to bottom.

That said, I'm happy to provide a higher resolution image file if that is what's desired. Before I shrink them they are 2171x3044. I prefer to release pages which are shrunken down in some manner, as the shrinking process smooths over a lot of the imperfections.

All that said, let me know YOUR opinion below. Do you want higher-resolution comic files? Or are they good how they are?

Also, if you have a preferred resolution - or a size you'd like the comics to fit in - let me know in the comments.

I'll put up some high-res versions of the comics when I get back from this week off. So next Monday I'll probably upload each comic in a larger format. I'll probably shoot for a format where they're... somethingx2000+ resolution.

Heya, I think that my request requires a bit of context. I first came across your comic elsewhere and where I read it in a 2568*3600 resolution. Therefore I was under the impression that the 642*900 ones were something that Patreon downscaled where instead the opposite must be true, where someone has upscaled them by a factor 4. It is pretty well done though, since I don't notice any smudges or something like that on the upscales. But I agree with Bearded Dick, my main monitor(s) is 2560*1440 and my image viewing program will just adjust any larger size to my viewing area so the 642*900 almost look thumbnail-ish. It is much less an issue on my 1920*1080 laptop. So the bigger the better, I would say.
