Progress Report

Hey! I hope you guys are doing fine. Just wanted to make a quick post about what to expect this month. So again, let's go in order of what I think will be the released first.

He Maid Her Fall

A few people already reached out to ask when the next update will release. I'm happy the story is so well liked. I haven't had much of a chance to express my concern about it, but we'll have more then enough time when this become my main project as soon as Aya Edition is completed. For now though, we have small updates with slow progression.

I'm missing one animation for this update. So I expect maybe a week of wait time before the release? I'll be conservative and aim for the 12th, hoping that I can release it early.

His Bet, Her Loss

For this one, I'm waiting for the voice acting, pretty much. I expect it around the 20th for the voice lines. I'll start coding it when I'm done with He Maid Her fall, and so, if everything work out as intended, this release should be around the 22th.

A Promise Best Left Unkept – Aya Edition

This one is hard to tell. The current path is supposed to branch into two different endings. I wanted to show the better one first, since the other one was more of an afterthought and was written for fun. But the better ending needs more CGs, more animations and it's not feasible to have everything done by the end of this month. So I've decided reluctantly to do the second, less demanding ending first, hoping that it will leave me time for the other ending, but… I'm not even sure that will be enough. I need 4 or 5 illustration this month… that my illustrator hasn't worked on yet. This is going to be tight. I assume (stupidly) that I'll be able to make it for this month's ending. But next month… yikes… I don't want to think about it right now.

I'll be aiming for late in the month. I can't give you a date. Could be the 25th, could be the 28th…

The Edge Of – Definitive Edition

There won't be a release for The Edge Of this month. We've added a layer of complexity with voice acting. I just today sent the next part to the Japanese translator to be translated. I also noticed that there's only 21k words left before we reach the first ending from Sam's perspective. So I think it will simply be a better decision to release a bigger update even if it takes a bit more time. I'll try for September still. Not sure yet.

All in all, I'm trying my best to keep up with all of this work, but it's obviously not sustainable. The fact that APBLU will soon be completed is kind of what keeps me going, really. I think it should be much more manageable with one project less.

In any case, I'm really grateful that you guys keep on supporting me. And I'll try my best to make it worth your while, as always.
