Progress Report (Sprites for the cucks)

I don't know how to call these posts. I want to share more information about more than one project, so I'm kinda drawing a blank.

In any case, this post is mainly to share a few more sprites for the two projects I'm working on. It's going relatively well, although I'm not sure how I'm going to manage all that when they are all going to be in development.

The small-small project

I still don't have a name for the project. I'm about 17k words in the story right now. As mentioned previously, I'm aiming for 60k words, and I have no idea what I'm doing. Don't expect much in terms of compelling corruption or storytelling. At worst, it's a bad NTR—what you guys are used to, I guess. I'm trying not to stress too much over it. It's a test, and I don't mind losing money over it. Depending on how it goes, we'll either have more of those small-small projects, or I'll curl into a ball and cry (and drink).

For now though, here's the 'cuck' of the story. His name is Karl. Heather's boyfriend.

He looks so cute, doesn't he? Hopefully, he's the one ending up curling into a ball and not me. I'm not ready yet to share more information on the project. I think when you read the synopsis might be when the first release is available… although I might change my mind.

My artist is quicker since he's become my dedicated artist. I'm expecting to have both the sprite of the bull as well as the cover of the game by the end of the month. So first release… March? I don't think so. Well, I don't know. Maybe a proof of concept? So we can talk more about if I should invest more money into it (voice acting, for example).

In any case! Let's end it at that for today.

The Edge Of – Definitive Edition

I've been coding the proof of concept for this release on the side. I still don't have Sam's animated sprite just yet, so I won't be able to release anything until I do. But I'm hoping to have the animated sprite by the end of this month.

And so, my plan is to release the first day of the game (from Sam's perspective). It would be around 5k words. It's to showcase the new CGs, the new sprites, the new UI… and to see how people feel about the upgrade. I want it to feel like a new game, so I want to hear your genuine thoughts. But this is later this month (if the Hangover God is willing). For now, I'm going to leave you with Sam's new sprite (left) in comparison with his old one (right). He looks funny to me… but hey, that's part of the change, I guess.

APBLU – Aya Edition

The release should be soon-ish. Next week. Don't know if it's early next week or toward the weekend. All I can say is that I'm stressing out. I don't think it's the kind of update you guys are expecting. But I don't have much to say about anything, really. You guys will just have to wait and see.

He Maid Her Fall

I will be writing another post, in a few days, talking about He Maid Her Fall. Mainly, I want to run a poll. I want to know if you guys are interested in making He Maid Her Fall the main project after Aya Edition is completed, just so we can finish it sooner, or if you'd rather have something else as the main project.
