Dev Update 07/2025: Upcoming Quality of Life changes

Hey everyone!

As usual, with every new version of the game, I try to improve existing features and include things you've asked for, based on your feedback and suggestions.

In today's dev update I'd like to give you a sneak peek at the Quality of Life improvements you can look forward to in V0.18.

Girls at Home – Extended

As you probably noticed from the image at the top of this post, I've added something many of you have been asking for:
Instead of just 4 harem girls at home, you can now have up to 8!

This also required a complete rework of the Wake-Up Service selection menu to support more girls. Here's what it looks like now:

Alternative Mind Control Font

Some of you mentioned that the shattered-style font used for Mind Control dialogue is hard to read, or just not your thing.
V0.18 introduces an optional new font for Mind Control scenes!

You can easily switch between the two fonts in the Options menu.

Simplified Chinese Added

Last but not least—Shattered Minds is now available in Simplified Chinese!
A big step toward making the game accessible to even more players around the world.

With the exception of the extended "Girls at Home" feature, all other Quality of Life improvements will already be included in the Steam release of V0.17, which is coming one week from today!
As long as no major issues come up during the final testing phase of V0.18, the update will be released here on Patreon as a Beta version shortly after Shattered Minds launches on Steam.
