I am back, not gunned down in the street, and here in my normal chair trying to figure out this week's normal video. Luckily for me, this week is a bit of a break from the heavy stuff and is instead just a quick video we made on the way out the door of Ethiopia. It isn't the last video this season before Somaliland (that's a special one I'm particularly proud of), but it is getting close!
In one respect, today's video is the story of trying new things. But in another, it is a reminder that most things are new, even when you think they're old.
I realize it's a bit fluffy, but sometimes life is a bit fluff.

will there ever be a season of Rare Earth in NYC? lots of stories there and pretty easy to get to. I am taking a tour this sunday to where Peter Minuit supposedly bought manhattan from the lenape in inwood; the far northern most part of manhattan. and he has a short street and lane named for him in greenwich village, on the opposite side of the island. lots of potential here.
