The Pinball Q&A video is now live

Here it is!

https://youtu.be/P3Y4d2aHnNE

This took me longer to make than I planned both because there were a lot of questions and because I thought it would be better to actually insert B-roll. So this is closer to main-channel quality than is typical for Connextras, although it's not scripted so captions will be auto-generated.

My plan is to make a main channel video before I make the sights and sounds video on Aztec, so you should see something there next.

I have to say, I have no interest in actually _playing_ pinball, but I could get completely lost in the intricacies of how these electro-mechanical systems worked. So cool! I really hope you keep going. Even if the video format / level of editing doesn't match the main channel :)

About the control of flippers: if you do it directly, it might be quicker, if it goes through a microcontroller, there might be a slight delay, depending on the design and SW it might be noticeable. My experience there is at least with organs and synthesizers: a mechanical pipe organ gives you direct control over the valve, but if you use electrics, electronics and/or pneumatics inbetween, you can notice the delay and you really have to play differently. The same I notice between Hammond Organ or analog synthesizers and digital simulations: the latter ones usually have a small delay, although in miliseconds range, still noticeable when playing.

It's hard to believe anyone could get tired of your pinball videos (also your hair looks really good)

Maybe the "halfway flipper" question was about games that have multiple flippers controlled by one button, and you can half-press the button to flip just the bottom flipper.

May I suggest hiring someone for captions even if they are not scripted? I have a reference if desired. :-)
