The Rise of Bangtan Ch. 19

This was one of the most touching episode. Especially for Jimin. He touched my heart.

The Rise of Bangtan Ch. 19

Yeah...well said.. Seesaw very much described it.. they are already having a hard time and hurting but no one wants to give up or step down coz that person will end up the bad guy... at first i really thought it was about a toxic romantic relationship.. but yeah, it can be applied to just any relationship.. BTS relationship to each other, and maybe, to ARMY as well.. they don't want to give up because of ARMY.. but they can also see that ARMYs are having a hard time too.. waaahhh..

The trip that was mentioned in this episode was just the members without any cameras. The footage she showed to illustrate what Jimin said was from a couple of Run BTS episodes not In The Soop. This was in 2018 and In The Soop season 1 was filmed in 2020 and season 2 in 2021.

least&next

Disney + just released the 1st 2 episodes of Beyond the Stars (BTS documentary) and this chapter of Rise of Bangtan couldn't be more perfectly timed, it really complements BTStars ep2. (There are many links available if you're interested) I'll say this, BTStars ep.2 really delves into the difficulties even more clearly and shows us that it was more of a strain to their relationships than we could have imagined. We already know Outro Tear is about this time when they considered disbanding, but Seesaw and probably much of LY: Tear the album is too. That's what I really love about BTS. Their way of writing is so universal, and we often think songs about relationships and love is written about romantic love, but that's not case here...which is really refreshing. They write about their experiences and as RM has said, and even Jimin mentioned here, they sacrificed, or gave all of themselves and their 20s to their work, so of course their songs are going to reflect that. I had even thought for some time that Outro Her from LY Her was about their relationship with Army and fame, and not a romantic relationship as well, and I'm starting to believe I was right.

Silly Human

They are such amazing humans. I think it is astounding that there is so much of their sincere day to day thoughts & interactions with each other to view. It really does allow you to empathize with them beyond other artists. I am also a big fan of Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys), who is 81 btw. The filmed behind the scenes footage of them in the studio from the 60s onward is so rare, it is like a treasure hunt when you read or hear something about them. Because BTS has so much content & is so forthright & sincere, the communication between them & ARMY actually impacts their lives & our lives as well. Bonded for real. I am thankful for that. ๐Ÿ’œ
