These games seem to have so much cultural or language specific stuff such that it will be really difficult to get the meaning or the joke sometimes. Well, I did what I could to help out ^^

2023-12-12 14:31:49 +0000 UTCI think a lot of us have also been fans of kdramas/variety shows. I've been the biggest fan of 2days 1 night(season 3) from 2014-2019. These shows also include games that have so much cultural aspects. Also carats have training from Going seventeen as well :D I think the reason why lots of carats joined your channel was we love to have additional detailed insights from you ^^

2023-11-05 18:17:47 +0000 UTCI was introduced to Korean dramas back in 2011-12 (You are beautiful drama) & have been watching various contents since. Now I understand the language itself (can understand, talk little & read slowly) + have a view of the culture too. So for me it doesn't feel alien, n sometimes I can understand the nuance of the written comments on videos by editors in a different way than the eng subs(makes me proud lol) but yeah, it just feels similar to how I watch English contents(English is not my first language either), not alien. It's interesting, good to know another culture.

2023-11-01 12:13:57 +0000 UTCI have watched k-content for quite sometime so there are few things I have learned and caught up, I also learned Korean for 2 years so I can understand most basic conversations etc., but there are things which I don't know and your explanation helps a lot. Also for the things I have some idea about I feel your explanations gives more depth and understanding hence I love watching your videos. This is also a reason I would love for you to maybe watch Going Seventeen Debate Night (논리나이트) or InsomniaZero (불면제로) episodes sometime in future because I feel you will be able to explain so much in those episodes and I will learn so much from you~ Specially Debate Night where SVT does 논리적인 비논리 토론.

I already want to request you watch a specific going seventeen because in it they are telling jokes and puns that I've never been able to fully appreciate. However, I know you have a lot you are trying to catch up on so I'll wait. I'm just telling you to let you know it's very much appreciated.

2023-11-01 05:17:45 +0000 UTCMost of us probably love korean variety/talk shows and watched a lot of them growing up. Some maybe learned to like the shows thru kpop... Personally, I'm into k-shows (variety/talk and dramas/movies) way before. To cite an example, I am a fan of Yoo Jaeseok and Shin Dong Yeob so I have seen their shows and they are also known as people who are smart and witty. The shows like Family Outing, Running Man, Happy Together, Heroes, Return of Superman, etc. introduced me not only to Korean entertainment (incl. music) but also to the culture and tradition. Learning hangul helps a lot too to understand the jokes and analogies better. And watching reactions/commentaries from Koreans like you is another way. Like we can appreciate the moments more when we get to learn more of the history or the stories behind :)

One thing always leads me to another 😂 So even if I don't get every single reference I understand a lot. Also, shows like this are multi layered being that it's hilarious even without the references, the other connotations just take it to another level
