2023-09-23 22:42:05 +0000 UTC49:19 "Cooking for a lot of people is so different." I actually had the opposite problem. I grew up in a family with six kids so I learned to cook for eight people. And then when I left home, it was hard to scale it down for just one or two people. To this day, I tend to over-estimate how much food I need to prepare.

2023-09-21 03:28:03 +0000 UTC41:56 I LOVE my induction cooktop. Never had one until I remodeled the kitchen of the fixer-upper house I bought in El Cerrito, CA six years ago. Water heats incredibly fast and I can use lower heat settings for stir-fry or saute. Very energy-efficient! I used to prefer cooking on a gas stove but now I prefer induction.
