Instinct's Body
Added 2024-08-07 23:01:51 +0000 UTCSo it's come up a few times now that instincts is going to be getting a body, something it can use to move around and interact with the world. This form is going to be draconic in some way, because Instincts' motivation has always been to become as powerful as possible. If it can't be the dungeon, it'll be the most powerful monster it can be.
Since I've been incredibly torn on which way to go about this, I'll be presenting you all with a few options. Feel free to throw in a few ideas or adjustments of your own in the comments.

The secret boss room that is rarely ever found. It would likely please instincts greatly having its own dungeon again.

My vote is for a true dragon, maybe wave and taura will be able to bond with and guide the little tyke, their first adopted child. Start it off small with the potential for unlimited growth. Similar to the old myths they gain size, knowledge, wisdom and power with age.

2024-08-08 15:09:38 +0000 UTCMetallic dragon. Potentium scales. Edit: I'd also recommend making Instinct's body sleek if you give it potentium scales, so it'll have some flexibility a regular dragon isn't afforded, while still having extreme defense. Maybe make it so it's tail scales can jut out at will so it can shear things with a tail strike.

2024-08-08 13:14:08 +0000 UTCNO! No more elves! We also already have the sorcerer in the Voice lady (forgot her name right now)! And isn't SHE kind of an elf in this new form as well?! No copies! If I could vote more than once I would vote for the Dragon, the Dragonborn and the 2 forms option. Because what true boss can't have more than one form? Also, would Instincts have been able to see any of Core's memories? If so, then video game bosses (and anime) are always "This isn't even my final form!"

2024-08-07 23:21:00 +0000 UTCWhat about turning him into a mini dungeon seed somehow and they plant him somewhere else. And since they shared the same body they are linked in some way and it allows him to extend his zone of reach and have another entrance or something. Not a real suggestion since it's completely opposite way you are going but I think its funny to think about him being like a dungeon dad and try to teach instinct to be a good dungeon lol
