Sir Bingbing - character design
Added 2024-09-19 09:57:32 +0000 UTCHello patrons! Hope everybody is doing well. It will be my cat's birthday this weekend and so I drew this in celebration. He's three years old now and I wanted to portray his attitude-- he thinks he's king of the house, honestly. He doesn't really like being carried or hugged but I guess that's just his character. He has a little french rosette on his belt-- I couldn't resist-- I like to think he's a bit revolutionary as he always tries to escape the house to go gallivanting around the neighborhood. Despite this, he's always been a little "uppity", (my friend has called him "your majesty"! As a joke...) and I hope his expression and stance communicates that dignified-but-not-too-much air that he has. I hope the process shots will help you understand how I went about drawing this.
