Agreed and Disenchanted as well even though it's not as great the original.

2024-10-08 05:30:29 +0000 UTCCouple of little canon things. Mama odie is the shadow manโs mom and the snake juju is her husband (his dad) mama odie quoted โit donโt matter what you look likeโ while scratching jujus chin. Heโs also toothless and shadow man wears his teeth around his neck bc when they split as a family ( shadow man turned to dark voodoo ) he turned him into a snake and took his teeth. (This was confirmed by the directors as the scenes were cut) Iโm from Louisiana about 2 hrs from New Orleans and visited frequently, VOODOO and HOODOO and all the above is definitely real and youโd be surprised how common it is for strange things to happen just like in this movie. So glad you enjoyed this classic. Although the first black princess was a frog for the whole movie. It had the best undertones and lessons.
