Itโs very unfortunateโฆ the creator (Owen Dennis) even showed images from the S5 movie on his Twitter shortly after they got cancelled.

The crew had already scripted the entirety of S5 and were in the process of getting it story-boarded when HBO cancelled the show. So if this season seems a lot more lowkey itโs intentional! They were giving watchers a break before a very intense S5 movie that exists but will never see the light of day :-(
