November Status Update

Hello.

We're not done with the polls yet; the next two will be content deciders for upcoming Days, for both Elysium and the base game. Those polls will be out sometime soon.

Here's what I'm working on.

• Elysium + "Mini" Content Update (more on this below)
• Day 19 Animations
• Second Game (more on this below)

The next Stranded in Space release will be the first bullet point—the Elysium + "Mini" content update. It consists of 3 Elysium scenes and, for spoiler-avoidance purposes, an undetermined amount of base game scenes as well.

I call it a mini content update, but in reality, it's shaping up to be the size of half a normal in-game day, which is still a nice number of scenes, IMHO.

As for when this update will be out, I'm definitely not giving any official dates. It is my hope that it will be out in December, but again, this is not an official release date.

I'm also working on Day 19. The animations are coming together nicely, and of course, it's going to be a big day. As you may have noticed, the Major Decisions UI spoiled that there would be a Major Decision on Day 19. It's one I've been looking forward to for a long time.

And lastly, I'm tentatively rendering the second game. I don't even want to talk too much about this because of how good I feel about it right now, but I'm very excited about it. The last time I tried to put together a second game (Touched by Sin), one of the biggest drivers behind it was a Stranded in Space marketing opportunity. I wanted to put "Wishlist Stranded in Space" on the main menu to help with its then-upcoming launch.

About 400 renders in, I wasn't proud of what I'd made. It was okay—not bad—just not great.

I'm feeling great about it this time. I'll share some renders and previews at some point; I just want to ensure it's a locked, going-to-release project before showcasing it to you guys.

And that's about it as far as this status update goes. 

I want to say this: I know there are some people out there who want me working on Day 19 only. They'd prefer my full attention to the next game day release. I get that. All I can say is that I'm still working hard on Day 19, and that Stranded in Space is my first priority. Days 19-21 are the days I've been most excited about from the very beginning. I'm eager to get them released.

Lastly, let's talk about the Steam release. All things considered, it went pretty well. A few bad reviews caused some rough days in the first week, but now that a full month has passed, it's going well. 

With the game now on Steam, I appreciate those of you who are continuing to support here on Patreon. I will always be grateful, and I will always work hard for you guys.
