Stranded in Space Days 9-11 - All Versions Are Out Now!

First let me start by saying: I really appreciate everyone's patience. I hate that this update delayed a few times, and going forward it's my dream to avoid further delays... here's hoping.

With that said, I'm quite excited that the next three days are out! I really hope you enjoy them, I'll be looking for feedback and thoughts on the story as more people get to play this game. I'll also do another "Rank the girls" post in early May, as well.

As for the next update - Days 11-12, I'm hoping it's out before the end of May. It is also a huge pair of days, with a new mini game, 3 major choices, and more fun surprises/secrets throughout. There's a lot to it!

For bugs found with this current update, I will be patching the game ASAP. Those patches will be put in their respective game posts.

To the Patrons: Thanks for supporting the game. I have some really cool things planned in the coming months!

I just wanted to share: It's been a really rough week for me. Work has been a challenge, health has been a challenge, LOTS of things have been challenging this week. This game makes me feel better. It's goofy, but the writing, the characters, the scenario -- everything in this most recent update has put a smile on my face. I appreciate the nuance you add to each character, that they feel real in their own way. It isn't that the story is sugar-coated, or it's just a mile-a-minute erotica fest -- there's attention and affection put into every part of this game, and it shows when playing. It's funny, and it's often sweet amidst all of the eroticism. I just wanted to add that. It's a positive blip on days that are rougher than expected. Thanks for that.

Also remember that you choose the type of fans you want. If you let yourself be driven by those who are impatient and demanding, then sooner or later they will be the loudest fans. Instead, rely on your own skills and vision and trust that your fans will recognise and support that. It is not a problem to share self-doubt, but you should not get too caught up in criticism.

First of all - thanks for the update. For me, it was much longer and enjoyable than many other games updates. Things happen, some delays are simply inevitable...I think most of us understand that and as long as you keep comunicationg the major issues and dont snowball promises, you will be fine and we will be happy. Because in the end what you are making is quite a experience. Its captivating, the laptop convos are great addition and you keep building up the anticipation. That beeing said - please, just remeber to close some arcs...even thou minor ones. I can say from other VNs that most of all I hate situation, when in several consecutive updates there are no closures...not final ones of course, but some "episodical" ones need to be made so the players have at least some sense of acomplishing some goals. You are early in the story, and so far you keep giving us enough special moments so that is not an issue, so consider this commentary more like an appeal for future development. Either way, great update, thank you and take care!

Please don't stress yourself out. You'll never allow things to slip, but no matter how thoroughly and well planned out you have your material, when you're dealing with the type and number of variables that can, at any time, come into play during the development/delivery cycle, you just cannot reasonably expect to be sure of meeting too specific a deadline. It's impractical and as you know counterproductively stressful, to say nothing of the acute threat in the short term of frustration and disappointment and worse, in the longer term, demotivation and burnout. Thankfully (for everyone) that's all I can say to try and help you stop putting undue pressure on yourself.

I appreciate you taking the time to leave such thoughtful comments. I'm definitely trying to keep it all in perspective, as you're right, the delays or issues are a bit stressful for me.

I can only speak for myself, but my main concern about this project is that the creator will get an ulcer if he continues to fret so deeply about relatively minor issues like an upload crash and a bit of waiting. Delays and hiccups are to be expected, especially in this world and equally especially because this is your first adventure. I would not know that if you hadn't told us (that is a totally objective and honest compliment). I know that you are (clearly) dedicated, sincere and hard working and that you have the requisite amount of passion and ingenuity to create something special, as I believe you are doing here. I am exceedingly happy (beyond even my most enthusiastic initial expectations) with all that you have delivered to me so far and I find no reason whatsoever to doubt that this will continue and hopefully even improve. I hope other likeminded patrons will endorse this view as it seems you really do need a little bit of reassurance for your peace of mind. There's no room for complacency in Patreon but you are human and have to be allowed to get things done at your own pace, including errors, delays and perhaps, even though I sincerely doubt it but who knows, even writer's block. The litmus test is the quality and enjoyment of all that you give us and so far, in my eyes, you have proven this to be a given. As long as I know you are doing your best to sustain this momentum you continue to build, then all else is merely minor distraction. The best things are worth waiting for and ensuing episodes of "SIS" are well worth the wait. Thanks for all you are creating and are attempting to create going forward, because that's the only way this project is going to go. Keep calm and carry on and I feel absolutely certain we'll all be blown away by the outcome. That is anticipation, not expectation, which is hope rather than demand.
