She couldn't love her because she didn't know how so she compensated for what she did know. Love isn't about constantly yielding. Serena needed her to find her in that swamp of eternal sadness; they needed to find a way to grow towards the light together. Then again this was probably the shock that made Sera start walking away from the light Serena didn't know how to reach. If Jimin is anything she is definitely the light, yeah she cast a shadow but it's so much warmer 💜

I feel bad for her, but the red flags from Sera were there from their first meeting. Lust is powerful and distracting, but she literally saw Sera with another girl the day after they had their first night together. A sad case of expecting too much from a person you honestly just met.

It makes me wonder what finally hit the switch and let her actually feel her emotions like she does with Jimin.

How different she is with Jimmin now. She flirts, they talk. Before she was indifferent. It’s sad. Surprisingly Isabelle was so nice to Sara in their later meeting in SK. Sara will need to have her “first love” so she can learn to love Jimmin later in her life. Get going Sara you’ve got a lot to do in your future.

She never led anyone on, she made it perfectly clear her boundaries and that they were not to be crossed. Sera’s behavior back then was actually harmful and cruel, she played with peoples emotions for her.

2024-12-08 13:22:47 +0000 UTCI definitely see where Sera was acting indifferent, but Isabelle was laying it on too thick, too soon. Less than a month of dating and you're already in love and want to know her ENTIRE life? Things like that take time. Her getting mad about Sera not telling her about the teacher is insane to me (because she was a beautiful woman, perhaps?). I mean, she's her teacher, but maybe her catching Sera with that older model before made her paranoid. That was a red flag, then...she should have waited a bit to decide if they could be in a relationship, and not after a one night stand. I can see it from both sides, and honestly, it just wasn't a good pairing and at a bad time in Sera's life. I see where Sera could have shown more affection and attention (outside the bedroom), but Isabelle needed to calm down and stop trying to fast forward feelings. It seemed more like lust to me. If it was like that for 6 months or more, I get it...Sera acting uninterested and just going along to get along would be cause for a breakup. However, it was less than a month and Isabelle was already too jealous. She exhibited signs of clinginess early on, where after sleeping together once, she was already head over heels and expecting exclusivity when Sera wasn't even her partner yet (also, peep the long string of text messages...that says clingy and anxious). Sera also wasn't ready for commitment at all, especially during that stage in her life dealing with a father who didn't except her (she was probably already rebelling by seeing a lot of different women). They were also still young. This is why I think Sera is such a good fit for Jimin... She understood her feelings of not wanting to be tied down, her aloofness at times, and the need to give her space and time to come around. Being too clingy on someone who doesn't really settle down is the perfect recipe to make them run.
