GEAR
Added 2018-12-22 16:26:24 +0000 UTCThe Genetically Engineered Artificial Resident. The first GEAR was created in an ancient clone vat called the Genesis Engine. There are five main types. Tenusa, Ardilya, Kath, Mouz and Rayn. Most GEAR are cloned repeatedly with only minor customizations like color. Larger customizations often cause unforeseen side effects.
Every GEAR type comes with different features.
Ardilya
Squirrel based. Ardilya were the first GEAR created by Celera Industries. They are very weak but also very versatile and easy to customize for a specific job.
Kath
Cat based. They are very quick and aggressive. Mostly seen as security.
Mouz
Mouse based. The only mini sized GEAR. They are highly intelligent and are used as engineers all over Ura Orta. There are mouz in every wall of every house with usually only one purpose: Keeping everything in perfect working condition without the home owner noticing.
Rayn
Insect based. Rayn were the original ancient design and are not really compatible with modern GEAR. They communicate telepathically only and do nothing without specific order.
Tenusa
Rabbit based. All Tenusa are technically immortal. They can fully regenerate from a single cell given enough time. That's why tenusa are designed with a very short lifespan, usually below 6 weeks. Their memories are stored in Celera Industries' databanks and restored during cloning.
