its funny ariel mentioned YBC at the beginning - i read all of it up to date recently and kinda loved it. the absurdity, the crassness, the horniness, all of it. it's also got love triangles on top of love triangles, so i don't know if i ship any two people together specifically, i'm kinda just looking at them as a giant messy polycule. it's like a trashy tv romcom, but in the best way possible. funny you also mentioned banana fish, cause the two MCs from that, ash and eiji, are one of my favorite fictional gay ships/couples (it's too hard to pick only one to be The Favorite). that show is not an easy watch, but their relationship is beautiful. they still destroy me to this day if i think about them for too long
