So just a heads up. Don’t be mad but I kinda, maybe, just a liiiiiitle bit cheated by saying “Kill Bill”. So Kill Bill was written and produced, shot as one big movie. It’s a Quentin Tarantino film so he has full creative control over the process. But when it came time to release and edit the films? He realized he had too much story to tell for a single sitting. Thus the decision was made to split the singular story into 2 parts and release them in theatres 6 months apart. So Kill Bill is split into Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2. But they are not separate films. So that’s how I can live with myself for not really writing “Kill Bill Vol 1” as my suggestion for this month. QT considers them one film, one story. The best way to think of it is like when you had longer movies on VHS or DVD and they came with two tapes or discs. When the first part of, say, Titanic was over? You popped in the 2nd disc. Well same thing here. Sort of. So I hope all that makes sense and you consider it all a singular movie, maybe split into two different reaction videos. Apologies for the slight deception.
