March Suggestion Box Now Open!

Hey guys! Thank you to everyone who suggested and voted in our last suggestion box, and thank you especially to Chris for the suggestion of 'Superbad' (2007), which is the suggested movie that we will be watching in the next few weeks.

But we go again so as of right now, the suggestion box is open once again! It will close at 23:59 on Monday 10th March, giving you all one week to get those suggestions in.

For anyone new here or just anyone who wants a refresh of the rules, here's how it works...

The Suggestion Box

This is the suggestion box, a feature for you guys to suggest movies directly to us and to choose movies for us to watch!

How it works

The suggestion box will be open for a limited time - in this first instance it will be open for one week (closing on 10/03/2025). In that time, all of you on the Coyzy Movie Lover Tier and above will have the opportunity to suggest movies to us.

At the end of the week, Niamh and I will choose one suggestion per Patron, and add it to a suggestion box poll, which you will then get the opportunity to vote on collectively. Once a movie is chosen, we will add it to our recording schedule and if all continues to go well, we will repeat the process at regular intervals.

This next bit is important - how to suggest

Ok, so that it's easier for Niamh and I to keep organised please put all of your suggestions into one comment below this post, and please no more than 5 suggestions per person.

But we do suggest that you all submit multiple suggestions as there may be movies we can't/won't include for reasons such as; we've both already seen it and don't feel we could do a good reaction, or it's a movie that contains scenes or themes that one or both of us is not comfortable watching, or it is already in our schedule and we don't want to waste your suggestion.

We can't wait to see what you guys recommend for us this month - comment them below! 💙💙

Coyzy Movie Night

Looking at the last two poll winners it seems the people want comedies, so here are some of my favorite 90's comedies, all unique in their own way. Living In Oblivion - lesser known, but really cool comedy of errors about making movies. One of Peter Dinklage's first roles too. Office Space - A timeless classic, and one of the most quotable comedies ever imo Throw Mama From The Train - A Danny Devito crime caper, a rare balance of suspense and goofiness The Cable Guy - One of Jim Carrey's finest villain roles Clerks - Cult classic and a pioneer for indie filmmaking. Very down to earth, slice of life kind of humor.
