This is the first of two Christmas movies that we will be doing on the channel in 2024.
What it undoubtedly is, is an iconic 80s action classic that neither Danny nor Niamh had seen.
It was so much fun from start to finish we were both so impressed with it.
This has been recorded in a watch-along format. You will need your own copy of the movie/tv show.

Great video, this one's a classic so I'm glad ya'll got to it. I'll echo what others have said about the sequels. 2 is a fine rehash of 1 with less heart, but 3 brings back in some real quality. After that the series becomes a bit too over the top for its own good. The special thing about Die Hard is how John McClane is not a typical Arnold style hero. He's just a cop that gets tired and severly injured just like an actual human would. But as the series went on they kind of lost that charm and went full action movie schlock, which is fine in its own way, just more generic.
