Update

Hey guys, Danny here, and here's what we have coming up this week!

Stranger Things 

We recorded Stranger things 3x7 on Saturday afternoon so that is coming. I wanted to just keep it going after this one finished and just finish the season but Niamh quite rightly reined me in.

So I have another few days to wait before watching the finale but needless to say, this season has been amazing! The stakes feel so much higher and I genuinely cannot wait to see how this is resolved because right now it seems like the odds are stacked against us!

Movie Night

This week's movie for Patreon is 'Good Will Hunting', the 1997 drama that was runner-up to Se7en in our most recent 90s Classics Poll.

We've literally just finished recording this one so it's very fresh as I'm writing this, safe to say Niamh loved it, she loved the growth of all the characters as they move through the film. I'd seen it a few times before but not very recently and what struck me was just how many touching moments there are in this film. Really uplifting film that has left both Niamh and I feeling good about life tonight 😊

The Penguin 

The plan is to record Episode 5 of the Penguin this week some night so that it can be up at the weekend. So we haven't seen it yet but assuming all goes to plan that will be up on Sunday!

The first four episodes have been so good! It's as good a gangster show as there is on TV and I thought those last two episodes which really put Vic and Sofia respectively front and centre were so interesting and really added both depth and stakes to the series.

So far so good and I can't wait to see what's coming next!

YouTube 

Stranger Things

Episode 3 of season 3 is due on YouTube this week. Niamh is working diligently on the edit for it as I write this so all goes to plan that will be live on its usual Wednesday slot.

Movie Night

This week on YouTube it's 'Se7en'.  I'm working my way through the edit of this one and by reexperiencing every scene again I'm really appreciating how every aspect of this film is driving that dreadful aesthetic of the setting - the result being a 'sinful' feeling city. Very well done and a really well thought out movie in many ways.

Hoping this week will be the week I can get Movie Night back into its traditional Friday slot but I'm reluctant to promise anything - I have a 6 month old guys, it's hard to find editing time!

The Penguin

Also hopefully we will be able to get the next episode of The Penguin out to YouTube on Sunday, however it’s a big undertaking by Niamh to try to get two episodes edited in a week so we will just have to see how things play out.

If not Sunday it’ll be up asap after that.
