The incredible pregnancy epidemic becoming normal lead to many advancements in technology and products that would rise in popularity as things most, if not every women, needed.

Fake/Ineffective Birth Control- While the pregnancy epidermic was first noticed as reality, many people turned to using birth control as a counter. With many businesses seeing the borderline obsession people showed while in this craze, many would hop on the train, selling very ineffective knock offs and using tricky words in advertising to fool people into buying. This resulted in some companies selling birth control that flat out didn’t work and other companies selling birth control that didn’t work very well, but had a side affect of increasing fertility if too much was used at once.

Phase Butter- While pregnancy women were able to heft around pregnancies that weigh more than their bodies, fitting through doors and lifting bellies that were too big, became the attention of the next product. Phase Butter was the solution, a cream/lotion, that could be easily spread on skin that would almost magically allow many sizes of body to fit through many different shaped doors, no matter how ineffective. This could also be applied to the bottom of any dragging body parts so that they will simply slip along as if immune to friction.

Weight Compression Belts- A previous invention of Bernice dubbed a failure. These belts have the power to compress fat cells. This was an attempt of Bernice to hide her weight as her jobs kept her from a healthy diet and normal exercise. While the belt itself worked, it was clunky and easily seen. As one would want to hide that they’re fat, a large belt circulating around would make it fairly obvious. Bernice quickly scrapped the idea after finding that no fashion or health companies would sponsor her or buy the gaudy belts. Years later, one of her daughters would secretly steal the belts, using them for herself and slowly circulate them in secret in her town through the college. A detail unknown to most of the wearers and Bernice herself, the belts had a design quirk aside from it’s gaudy looks. Instead of shrinking a flat amount, it would actually compress a large percentile before failing. Being a compression of 90ish%, one would have to be monstrously fat to overload the belt. A second effect of the belt that was found later is that they will similarly compress muscle mass and even pregnancies.

Meal Nukes- Designed by Bernice to deal with her insatiable hunger while pregnant with her first incredible brood, these are small tablets that expand into a filling food paste that expands once the casing is digested. The paste is easy to digest and full of nutrients. While dealing with her conscience eating at her for her lack of respect for humanity during testing, she uses the fortune from selling the products to fund her various adoption agencies. Meal Nukes are typically sold as a pack of twelve tablets that should be taken as much as needed to salve off the hunger of feeding many many babies. It is advised against taking multiple pills in one sitting due to the sheer amount of paste that will be expelled into one’s stomach at once. The Meal Nukes tablets may be meant to be a quick fix to sate pregnancy hunger, but many people have admitted to eating them simply because they’re hungry and want the filling sensation immediately rather than eating food the traditional way.

Fertility Boosting Drink- With one spectrum of mindsets trying to prevent pregnancies after the epidemic, they was the other side that promoted them. With the glorifying of huge families becoming more and more normal, drugs to promote further fertility were developed and sold. They come in many different shapes and sizes, the most popular being the gallon jug and the 30 gallon drum. Commonly dubbed “Preggo Juice” by many, this pink drink isn’t particularly thick and tastes very chalky. These drugs work quickly after being drank and digested, increasing the number of functioning eggs produced in woman, leading to many more offspring than normal. The effectiveness varies from person to person, but it does work well enough for most everyone. Oddly enough, drinking enough of it while pregnant will encourage extra cellular growth, leading to babies multiplying during gestation. Most of these drugs lose effectiveness in the last month of so of pregnancy. There is also an odd side effect that drinking this while pregnant will have the mother experience a  sensation similar to being drunk, but without the negative affects on their bodies or on their babies. In very rare cases, women have reported allergic reactions where their ovulation is spiked permanently, causing extreme bloating and rapid growth. These cases seem to even out eventually, but the boosted egg count does not revert and they stay extra fertile.

Late Game Booster- Britt’s company went from designing fashion for fertile moms to developing pregnancy based products. One of these tests was the “Late Game Booster”, a ludicrous drug made to still work in the later months of pregnancy. It is fairly unstable and somehow barely approved for human use, but it skyrockets the amount of babies in the womb. Side effects include rapid growth, insatiable physical and sexual appetite, hot flashes, and rapid weight gain. These effects are not guaranteed to fade after giving birth, causing most women that use it to constantly binge and become pregnant soon after, becoming terrifyingly fat and fertile while only caring about having more.

Weight Loss Drugs- While more and more women found themselves fattening up while pregnant, delivery of babies became harder to do. Hospitals would find themselves unable to house new mothers when they were bigger than a house. A powerful drug was developed to help patients lose weight in a matter of weeks with basic muscle stimulation. This drug is not normally in circulation for the public.

Mika Robots- Another corporation attempted to help control the population growth by introducing lifelike robots to the populace in secret. These Mika’s were outfitted with near human movement and looks, but their physical traits were customized to the order. Mika’s have immense strength, are normally pacifists, and can digest many forms of trash instantly. These operations were mostly limited to keep them out of the eye of the public. Since Mika’s have an odd bunny girl look and a devoted attitude to their owners, they were thought to make the typical relationship less likely and cut down on the amount of new families bringing in dozens of children at a time. Due to an oversight in their design, Mika’s were too human like and among other things, still have a functioning reproductive system and an urge to please their owners however they could. While able to do things like get sick, gain weight, and even become pregnant, Mika’s have full control of their bodies. If they choose not to give birth, they don’t have to. After this was discovered, the project was halted, but this was after dozens had been released into the public.
