Ara'el, the personal guard of Queen, fought fiercely during the civil war in Santhysgaard. In a desperate battle, Ara'el was gravely injured while trying to save the queen and her daughter. When all seemed lost, the queen pleaded with her sister, Elary'el, to save Ara'el and take her in the elves' exodus to Frostgaard. Ara'el only woke up a month after their arrival, discovering a new and safe world. In a rare gesture among elves, she cut her hair, symbolizing her renewal and commitment to the new era.

Determined, Ara'el swore to protect the young princess Syni'd, now queen, and to rebuild what was lost. Among the surviving elves, she became a symbol of resistance and loyalty. Alongside Kadi'el and under the guidance of Elary'el, Ara'el was ready to face any threat, carrying with her the memory of Santhysgaard and the hope for a better future for the elves of the Asthor Clan
