Sorry :(

Hey guys and girls,

I just wanted to apologize that I haven't been posting as much as I want to. This job is literally draining the life out of the me. I have worked days when all I've done is stare at a screen and do nothing. No phone calls to answer, no emails, no copies to make, literally just sat at a computer doing nothing. Yesterday I almost blew up at some bitch working there that made a quip to her friend passing by me that it must be nice getting paid to do nothing all day.... It's weird, I don't do anything, but I feel more tired sitting around doing nothing then when I used to train for cross country, I don't understand how that make sense.

Yes there is a difference between being physically tired and mentally tired, and often mentally tired is the hardest to recover from. This can especially be the case if you don't feel useful or that you are contributing. This can be tough to do so someone young and relatively new to the work force, but one way to help combat these feelings is to be proactive is seeking out tasks. Approach you manager, or even other collegues to see if there is something you can do to help them. That way they may be more likely to give you other things to do rather than being reluctant to pass tasks off. :)

I find it can actually be more draining to be bored and uninspired. Time drags, you don't feel fulfilled or useful, it drains your energy. Not sure about your works situation, but can you write while you're there? Doesn't have to be your slutty fantasies, could even be non-smut, just something to keep occupied. Also, physical activity would help too, if that's possible. Bring a jump rope, maybe? Just throwing out some thoughts. Also, make sure you have good music going. Or you could mentally plan our your next adventure/chapters in your head... ;)
