She and her sister Blanche fought against an Order of Witches that sought to increase the nearly eradicated magic on the continent through wicked acts of murder and war. Magic had been nearly wiped out two centuries ago, with only users of profane and dark magic still lurking in the gaps left by the great magical cataclysm.
The Margaux family had been destined to destroy the remaining magic, and for this purpose, they created the Order of the Margaux Knights, skilled warriors in the use of swords and the little magic that was still left.
After centuries of relentless battles and wars, Jehane invoked a forbidden magic, one that not even the oldest witches dared to use. With the Tome of Destruction, she summoned magic to the center of the Earth, creating an apocalypse in Lilleaux that consumed all existing magic and its users.
Only with the help of her sister Blanche did she manage to stop the cataclysm, sealing the magic within the Earth's core.
From the ruins of Lilleaux, the sisters built a new nation where there would be no more magic, and peace could reign once more. They named the nation after their family: Margaux
