the horse leg injury question, it all depends on the severity of the fracture, if its a good outlook or just a bone chips the horse can recover if its a full on broken leg there is usually nothing that can be done and the horse will live in constant pain for the rest of their life, also their life with bad leg injuries are very shortened not making it past a few more weeks. so its seen as a mercy for horses with bad leg injures to be euthanized.
