What if… Catra was left on literally anyone’s doorstep besides Shadow Weaver’s? She grows up with Angella, Entrapta, Huntara, Razz, etc.?

What fascinating stories could emerge from these four alternate universes! Each one presents exciting possibilities for character development and their impact on the world of Etheria:

Catra and Huntara ruling the Crimson Waste as sisters:
Two strong, determined women with an unbreakable bond ruling the desert. Catra, with her cunning and ferocity, would perfectly complement Huntara’s strength and natural leadership. Together, they would have transformed the Crimson Waste into an impenetrable fortress, a refuge for the oppressed, and an impossible challenge for the Horde or any other enemy. Their alliance could have even redefined the politics of Etheria, taking the rebellion to the next level with strategies and a network of allies no one could foresee.

Catra raised under Angella’s loving wings:
In this universe, Angella would have taken Catra in as her own daughter, giving her the home and love she always lacked. A close relationship with Glimmer during their childhood would have instilled in Catra the values of sisterhood, trust, love, and empathetic leadership. As adults, Catra and Glimmer would have formed an unbeatable duo at the helm of the rebellion: Glimmer with her strategic cunning and magical abilities, and Catra with her fierce instincts and charismatic leadership. The war against the Horde would have ended much sooner, with far less suffering.

Catra raised alongside Madame Razz:
What would have happened if Catra had grown up under the eccentric and wise influence of Madame Razz? In this scenario, Razz would have nurtured Catra’s imagination and curiosity, teaching her to see the world with creativity and humor. The forest would have become her sanctuary, a place to experiment and learn about the magic and connections that bind Etheria together. In time, she would have met Adora in a chance encounter, and their friendship would have been born in freedom and discovery, rather than rivalry. Together, they would have faced the Horde with a much stronger bond.

Catra raised alongside Entrapta:
In this universe, Entrapta would never have known loneliness because Catra would have been her companion from the start. Catra’s imagination and Entrapta’s technological genius would have fused into a unique relationship, where each would inspire the other to create amazing things. Together, they would have developed revolutionary inventions, perhaps even before the Horde could use them for evil. Their bond would have resulted in an innovative team that could have changed the course of history, creating solutions instead of weapons.
