A tense silence engulfed the throne room as Catra came face to face with Adora, who now had a preference of calling herself "Despara." It had been a considerable amount of time since their last conversation, but even though the cut on her face had completely healed, the emotional wound, far from closing, seemed to be reopening more and more with each passing day. Despite this, as they say, curiosity killed the cat, and Catra couldn't help but be intrigued about the purpose of this unusual summons, so she had decided to set aside her resentment and attend the meeting.

"You called me, Ado... I mean, Commander Despara?" Catra asked, unable to hide a certain bitterness in her tone. Despara turned towards her, holding an elegant scroll in her hands, which seemed to contain something of great importance.

Though she didn't look directly at Catra, she finally spoke, "Yes, I have a task for you. It will be a tricky mission."

Catra's heart began to beat faster, a mix of uncertainty and intrigue.

"What is it about?" she asked, unable to conceal her curiosity. Despara extended the scroll towards her with an intriguing demeanaur. It was an invitation to the Princess Prom in the Kingdom of Snows an event that took place every ten years and to which all the princesses of Etheria had been invited.

Catra furrowed her brow, confused, as she read the contents of the scroll. "It's an invitation for... Scorpia? Scorpia is a princess?"

Despara let out a mocking laugh that echoed through the walls of the room. "Of course she is. The Horde invaded her family's kingdom years ago, and they handed over the Black Garnet to Hordak. They explained it during Force Captain training... You should know," she laughed.

Catra futilely tried to hide her surprise and embarrassment by looking away. "I guess I missed that lesson," she muttered. "If this is an invitation for Scorpia, what do I have to do with it?"

Despara stared at her intently, with a malicious smile that sent shivers down Catra's spine. "You will go to the prom with Scorpia as her plus one. You know how I desire to conquer that kingdom, don't you?" Catra was stunned. The magnitude of the mission began to weigh on her shoulders.

"And of course, steal their Runestone..." she whispered, understanding Despara's objective.

Party time.
