Jinwoo just went FULL SHADOW MONARCH and I’m still recovering 😭πŸ”₯ Episodes 11–14 of Solo Leveling are INSANEβ€”his transformation, the fights, the "ARISE" moment?! I was not ready. Tap in and watch me lose my mind over the coldest glow-up in anime history!

Yeah I think this also falls in line with the system making him a necromancer. The system made it seem like a choice but we can kind of guess that the system has some plan for Jinwoo. Why offer that specific class and no other even though he put all his energy into strength training? I think the system simply made the other as quests to get Jinwoo more comfortable with the idea of hurting humans. At first he has no choice and then when posed with a choice he’ll assume it’s part of the game without the systems prompting.

I always have mixed feelings watching anime/reading manga and manhwa where beasts/animals are the enemy lol. Every time the ice bears showed up, I was like "awee" even though I know they're trying to take out the humans/main character lol. But what I find most interesting is that the first couple times Jinwoo had to get rid of other humans, it was because they were going to do it to him, and more importantly, the game made it a required quest that he had to fulfill. This time, he got rid of the captain of the group with his own will. Yes, the guy was going to try to get rid of him, but Jinwoo could have easily knocked him out. Instead, he got rid of him in order to add him to his shadow army to defeat someone more powerful. He used him and seemed to have no qualms about it. It didn't seem to be his plan from the beginning, but that he made this decision anyway shows that he is losing some of his humanity.

Takeaways from these last episodes 1 Jinwoo has a permanent case of butter fingers and it's going to drive me crazy every time. 2 The brother not questioning the fact that his bro is way stronger than both the D and E rank and somehow still got murked is confusing me. Like how you assume it's the weakest links (even tho we know it was them). There's no way technically they should have been strong enough to kill his brother. He says that Jinwoo will more than likely die in this gate but at the same time believes he's a murderer. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. 3 I have a lot of questions around the game "glitching". It draws into question if anything including the world everyone currently is in is even real. Plus ultimately what is the system's motive. The construction company seems as though they just want to monopolize on the hunting industry. Does the system want Jinwoo to be the villain in this story? Instead of following a hero's journey we follow the villains up until he finally meets his match?
