Plus in the evaluation for her while fan voting counts highly, and sways the direction ur going in, she still wasn’t the worst singer technically in the group. U could be amazing at singing, dancing, etc. and be eliminated. Especially if you’re not blending (physically and musically), for example Ilya sadly. The skill set is needed to be noticed, it opens the door.…the rest is public opinion in this industry as they directly have to provide consumers with what they like. From a marketing standpoint, the skills Manon had were enough to keep her there. Per the rules of the missions, and the way fans took to her. Also think that the white girls got the treatment of poc in other industries. Mainly because it seemed most fans didn’t want a white girl in the group. That’s just my view from how it went. K-pop fans don’t mind a girl of color hence the rest of them now….but the white holes was not the “standard” look. And I think that’s what hurt them. Similar to how in the beginning, Americans were getting voted low. Lastly, I felt bad for Manon the whole time as she felt like an outsider. Bless my sis soul 🙌🏾 but that was my Dani🤣🙏🏾. The person that won’t treat u like an outsider and still cheers u on….cause they’re trying to give the benefit of the doubt and genuinely care like a friend should.
