Added 2025-09-28 16:05:06 +0000 UTCWell this week went a tiny bit sideways with a cold sweeping through my house. So far, it has not struck me which is very important. I’m keeping things running in the background, and making sure everyone eats, is hydrated and is resting.
Today it feels like most have turned the corner.
I did get a few chapters drafted even with the sickness in my household. I’m finally at the point in the story that I have been imagining for years. Not the pinnacle but some warm, family moments that just make me wish my life was really truly like this.
But that's why I write this story. To have a place that's warm, fuzzy and everything just works out in ways that help everyone.
I’ve been working on a few surprises in the background for when the book launches and I hope everyone will love them.
My garden is getting wrapped up for the year. The fall rainy season feels like it's starting this week, so I need to get the rest of my tomatoes and peppers in.
I received my author proof today of the paperback and it feels so real. It makes me chuckle since I wrote this story for me, yet it resonated with so many of you. I hope the small edits, and movement of some chapters doesn’t upset yall, and instead, you love the polished version.
