Whispers from the Writing Nook
Added 2025-08-24 15:37:47 +0000 UTCThings finally feel like they are getting back to normal, even if it's a lot busier preparing for the launch in November. Things like doing social media graphics and such are my bane but important.
Last week, I wrote two chapters that I love, and they were edited plus scheduled out. This week, I plan to hit at least 3 if not 4, I’m finally hitting the outline like I wanted since the last couple of chapters the Cat took a detour along with Indigo.
Once I’m back on track with my crazy characters, things will move a little faster in the writing department.
OMG! I saw the first colored version of the cover and only had a single change to make. Anticipation is building, and I cannot wait to share the cover with everyone. My plan is to do a cover reveal when all the other stuff feels overwhelming, so I get motivated to keep going.
I really want this launch to be the best it can be. Sable, the Cat and Indigo deserve that.
Someone asked how long it takes a book to get published and I just giggled. I started writing this series 3 years ago, and only now is it getting published. Now, part of that is on me. I wrote this story for me and people just enjoyed it as well.
Going back and editing takes time, especially when you wrote something so long ago. The fact that this book is getting audio still blows my mind.
I cannot wait to have it in my hands.
