And a pinch of color.

With some panels, I feel like I just have to add color even though most of the book is entirely black and white. My vision when it comes to colors is to use colors that look good with eachother. Blue and red is always a good bet. As you can see, I use different shades of blue and shades of red. I don't have to think so much and in the end I have something very visually striking.

But each panel starts off with a rough panel like the one above. I prefer it was cleaner and easier to read but your boi has a good eye and so it's not too difficult. Would the final result have looked better if I used a cleaner rough? Yes. Do I regret that I didn't use a cleaner rough? Of course. But life goes on and I learned a valuable lesson that I should have learned long ago.

I like this photo because I get to see the traps, delts, teres major and infraspinatus. It helped me with this panel. You can also save it into reference folder and your spank bank.

I used the hard ink brush because it's a Goddamn amazing brush. I use the paint splatter brush to erase parts of my speed lines to add texture and break up the lines. It's interesting to look at and I saw a dope manga artist do it and now I'm stealing it. You can do it to.

Usually I'm stumped with colors. But this time, the colors just banged. Try it out. Use just 2 colors you like and try them out on an art piece. Play with different shades and you might have yourself some wonderful eye-candy.

And a pinch of color.
