Hello Patrons!
"Underdark Temple" [30x38] has 8 map variants (plus grid, no-grid, JPG, PNG and PDF versions) and 43 assets (ready for Roll20, Foundry or your favourite VTT platform).
Can you hear this? Thousands of quiet voices chanting her name. The spider goddess sees your every move through the eyes of her tiny followers, would you dare come to her temple?
Deep down in the Underdark, in the dim light of the torches there’s a obscure shape growing in the distance. Blue crystals on this… thing are slightly glowing and when adventurers comes closer they can clearly say that they are approaching a huge, spider-like building and the voices from the inside becomes clearer.
“Arachne, you, who protect us. Arachne, you, who feed us.
Arachne , goddess of the Underdark, answer our prayers!”
More and more drows joins to the chant and the surface of the temple seems to move as the spiders of different shapes and sizes emerge from the stone. It is fight or flight situation, but real danger is still hidden inside these walls.
“We have to stop them!” shouts the Barbarian, as he draws his sword and rushes through the bridge, right into the lions’ den. Rest of the team follows him, just in time to escape spiders dropping from their webs.
Scent of rotting flesh and unidentified ooze filled lungs of the adventurers, stunning them for a second, but the view of dark elves ready to fight reminds them about their mission.
“It’s here, I can feel it…” says the Mage looking for the artifact. Her hands start filling with energy, forming fireball as she was focusing on the high priestess of the Lolth.
Right before the spell was cast, something huge has fallen from the roof. Disgusting arachnid stood up, and witch clacking of its jaws charged towards the mage.
But maybe jumping straight to actions is not the way how your party solves the problems? Maybe drows at the temple were peaceful all along? Our map of this "Underdark Temple Battle Map" gives you hundreds of possible scenarios.
We gives you a bunch of variants of this place - versions without the grid might be a great handout and four options with the grid are great to personalise your story.
We hope that our work will give you a lot of joy and inspiration for your future games!
