City on Fire [Free]

The City on Fire is our special map because next month we will create a continuation of it (this is the result of this poll). Now you can use this map to create a session where players will move between the buildings (final - burning). 

"City on Fire" [30x30] has 11 map variants (plus grid, no-grid, JPG, PNG and PDF versions) and 23 assets (ready for Roll20, Foundry or your favourite VTT platform).

City walls look like a safe space. Defended from the outside world, with the guards on every corner and the inn with a comfortable bed and fireplace - it feels like home, maybe just a bit.

After a long journey and seeing a bunch of outlaws, daredevils, adventurers and other crazy folks spending some time with the town people might be calming.

They have their own problems - rats in the sewers, loud neighbours, water dripping from the ceiling when they sleep. It sounds ridiculous after fighting with cultists or escorting some nobleman to another country.

But when the night falls, the city becomes a very different place…

After the moon comes out, the cities become dangerous - instead of guards there are gang members, hunting for people to rob or trying to fight with other outlaws in bloody fights or ambushes.

Sometimes they take it to the extremum, burning the buildings, murdering innocents just because they live in the district ruled by another gang, and when the party visits the town, things might get messy…

The whole city is being woken by the sound of the ringing bells and the orange glow from the suburbs. The flames go high into the skies and there are two streams of people running in two different directions - one escaping from the downtown, second coming with the buckets and bowls filled with water, on their way to prevent fire from spreading.

There’s no time for investigation - it may be an arson, but you have to save as many civilians as possible, so will you take the lead over the panicked crowd, or will you join the others in the fight with the flames?

With our map you can show your players how the fire is spreading, and with 23 variants you will find one suitable for every adventure you have planned!
