Sometimes it happens that the players do wrong or even break the law and go to prison. And sometimes they will end up in a very well guarded prison in a fortress. Small rooms, problems with sleeping, lack of light and poor food - it does not look like a nice trip...
"Fortress Prison" [30x30] has 2 map variants (plus grid, no-grid, JPG, PNG and PDF versions, ready for Roll20, Foundry or your favourite VTT platform).

It happens that during your adventures you might do something… shady, which can lead to imprisoning you or your friends!
It happened in the City of the Thousand Canals, the secret police caught your group off guard, and not everyone managed to escape - the elven rogue was left behind and you all see how the men in black drag her into the carriage. Stealing from the noble wasn’t the greatest idea, but he knew that inviting a pack of the daredevils into his mansion might be not the best idea…
She’s tough, but you cannot just leave her. Luckily for you, the owner of the inn where you stayed wasn’t a saint either. He was helping the smugglers with the illegal contraband - and you caught him red handed, so he owns you a favor for not turning him to the authorities.
His “friends” helped with finding the plans of the prison - rectangle cells with only one way in and out, not very promising, but it is what it is. You spent a day planning the best way to do this, including arson, stealing boats, riots… But it’s all for the good cause, of course!
The smugglers have their own business when it comes to the prison surroundings - they want to get their stolen goods back, and they will gladly help you with causing some trouble in the city.
So who is waiting in this prison? Maybe an old friend, or someone who holds grudges with one of the players? You can use this map for an amazing stealth mission, or for the heroic breakout with tons of explosions, duels in the corridors, and running away from the law enforcers.
Take the crowbar and the bunch of picklocks, you might need them!
