Jungle Camp

Welcome to the jungle! You're surrounded by huge and wild vegetation everywhere. Your tents leak after one night and all your clothes and food are wet. At night you hear strange noises and in the morning you find traces of many animals near the camp.

What happened to the previous team that built the camp here? Why do you still feel that someone or something is watching you?

Humidity is overwhelming, clothes sticking to the bodies and sweat dripping in your eyes all the time - that’s what it feels like to be in the jungle.

Surrounded by huge vegetation and swarms of insects you finally find your way to the camp. Tents give some shade, but their main task is to protect from the mosquitos and flies which grew to enormous sizes in the tropical heat.

The person who called your group here is a gnome researcher - Bungo Dalium, one of the teachers on the academy in Waterdeep.

He’s looking for wild flowers growing only in this part of the world, but when he announced his journey other scientists were trying to stop him. Are they dedicated enough to hire someone to hurt Bungo?

Well, maybe nature can do it better than any human. At night wild animals are coming very close to the camp, so the group staying here had to set night's watch.

One time you stay up late and see Bungo sitting alone on the edge of the camp, looking at the woods direction, motionless.

- My friend, I hear you! If you want to come closer do it s l o w l y. It’s easy to scare them!

So step by step, very carefully, you finally here where the gnome is standing. From here you can spot huge, fluorescent butterflies sitting on the branch of the tree above you.

- Beautiful, just beautiful! If I had a jar or.. or a net to capture them!

And right after those words came out of his mouth the butterflies flew away in panic, replaced by yellow eyes of the giant spider.

Will your player save the scientist, or leave him in the claws of the spider? What other monstrosities are waiting in the dark? Jungle is not the only thing hiding secrets, the camp might be full of traitors, waiting for the smallest mistake, so be careful!
