Dwarven Forge

Deserted underground underneath the mountain. An old, destroyed dwarf smithy. Long ago, the most powerful weapons to fight the forces of darkness were created here. Now you must be careful not to get eaten by goblins or fall down into the lava lake...

Dwarves are famous for their weapons and armors, created in the fires of the huge forges in the depths of their strongholds, and the most famous blades are still in use to this day.

Forge of the Gakhumir, legendary between the smiths of all kinds,  but now lost somewhere in the depths of the mountains.

This forge was famous from the high temperatures it could achieve - it was possible, because this whole place was very close to the core of the land, so it was fueled by the lava, not by the standard flames.

Unfortunately, this perk was the reason why this place was destroyed - after the earthquake the lava has risen and flooded the halls of the stronghold taking care of the forge.

Dwarves who survived had to leave all the goods inside, so if someone is brave enough to fight through the goblins, orcs and other monsters living in the abandoned halls.

Maybe this place has turned into the tourist trap? Safe cave with a scary story?

Or is it really a place without an enter, left by every living being and forgotten by everyone?

Let the players find the information about this area in various places! Old library, lost journal of the survivor or the story told by a crazy man in the inn.

The reality might be different from the stories - maybe the dwarves have a pact with a dragon and it’s protecting their secrets, a powerful illusion hides the treasures under magic lava?

Everything is possible and if you want to reward your players this is a great opportunity to upgrade their weapons and armors!

So suit up and get ready for the next adventure.
